the previous owner dropped the male and sold the hen off.
this is a new male that was bought in when the hen was purchased
the hen has laid at the current premises but the egg was trashed.
cock bird has a few feathers missing from the back of his head so probably done by the hen bird
the owner is going out of birds and all the birds are to be sold up.
National Parks and Wildlife licence is needed to purchase these birds.
